Come along to local historian and author, Dorothy Bentley-Smith's, fascinating talk on Charles Roe's influence on Macclesfield & elsewhere. Tickets can be bought for £5 each on the door. Talk from 2 - 3pm, the church will be open from 1 - 4pm.

A special event for our 250th anniversary year.


Dorothy Bentley-Smith, local historian and author of 'A Georgian Gent: The Life & Times of Charles Roe' will be delivering a talk on 'The Indomitable Charles Roe'. This will cover Charles Roe's influence on Macclesfield & elsewhere, as well as his determination to build Christ Church.
