Macclesfield Book Festival 2025 - History Weekend - 15th Feb

Open from 11am until 4pm. Sandra, Christ Church volunteer and archivist will be giving a fascinating talk on the history of the building at 12pm. Artisan stalls, book stalls, and refreshments will be available.

📚 Macclesfield Book Festival - 2025 📚


Book worms and lovers of literacy, join us at Christ Church Macclesfield every weekend of February for our inaugural Book Festival. We'll have our popular book stalls open for browsing and buying, as well as being joined by some excellent local book shops, guest speakers, musicians, and artisan craft & gift stalls. Refreshments will also be available.


What to expect

Below are details for what you can look forward to on February 8th.


Talks & Performances

  • 12pm - Sandra Hargreaves - our volunteer archivist will be giving a talk entitled, 'The History of Christ Church'



Authors & Poets

Some wonderful authors, poets, and historians will be joining us with copies of their works for sale.

This festival is made possible with the kind support of the Churches Conservation Trust, Macclesfield Town Council, and our dedicated group of volunteers.
